Élyra — Skincare Store
A mobile-first skincare store: it starts with a quiz that identifies the visitor skin type, recommends products, builds a daily routine, and ends with a cart, checkout and location-based delivery.
How it was built, step by step
Planning and store structure
We mapped the full visitor journey before writing any code: where she lands, how she finds the right product, and where she hesitates. The result was a map of eighteen pages and a database schema covering products, cart, orders, reviews and loyalty points.
Visual identity
We chose a beige and gold palette over marble and silk textures — the visual language of premium skincare, because it signals purity and value. The interface was designed mobile-first, since most shopping in this category happens on a phone.
Product page and cart
The product page was built with five tabs: description, ingredients, how to use, reviews and questions. The reason is simple — a skincare buyer asks about ingredients before price, so we put the answer in front of her instead of making her hunt for it.
Skin quiz and routine
The store centrepiece: a five-question quiz that identifies the skin type, then recommends matching products and builds a morning and evening routine. It turns a hesitant visitor into a confident buyer and naturally raises basket size without pushy selling.
Checkout and delivery
Checkout is connected to a map that pins the customer location and calculates the delivery fee automatically, alongside discount codes, a loyalty points system, and back-in-stock alerts.
Launch and admin panel
We delivered the store with a full admin panel for products, orders and inventory, and turned it into an installable progressive web app with push notifications — so the owner reaches customers without an app store.
